Under the War Hazards Act the insurance company will be reimbursed the costs of your attorney and their own plus
an administrative fee, all at the expense of the taxpayer.
You should consult with an attorney ASAP to ensure that you are being treated fairly.
The insurance companies have large law firms with huge resources and little conscience
Choose your lawyer carefully.

Gary Pitts
Houston Texas
Mr Pitts took money from the
Eyesslinck Widow though there
was no award.  It is not known
whether this was approved by
the ALJ or not.
The widow tells us that she paid
Mr Pitts $3,000 in advance for a
deposition and then another
$5000 after losing the claim
Over the past six years
under the WHCA,
the federal government
has paid
more in reimbursements
to insurers for expenses

($19.7 million)

than it has paid in
compensation
to claimants

($12.1 million).
